Green is the color I am focusing on in our family room...and on the tree...When I first started thinking about that, I thought..it will be easy peasy because the main color in our house is green so I am sure I have lots of green decorations..until I started going through the boxes and boxes of decorations...LOL.. I collect vintage ornaments so I have an over abundance of pink, aqua, and blue.....none of which I am using this year...
I am making progress and found enough green glass balls to do the tree....well, at least one side of it.hahahaha so thankful for editing and cropping of photography....anyway.....come sit at our table for a minute.....
Everybody knows Friendly Village by Johnson Brothers..I found a partial set while thriftstore shopping a few years ago...That is all I need..enough to set a table for 2.. It is very pretty and I like the green....
I paired it with Lenox Solitaire..another GW find..even the monogrammed plate that I will use for bread...and 'G' is our initial..How cool is that?
On top of Lenox green chargers...from our wonderful Lenox outlet that is only 30 minutes from our house..
My new pewter salt and pepper.. I have been looking for these and you guessed it... .99 each at GW....
Still working on bokeh..The lighting is not very good today..foggy and cloudy..I like to shoot in the morning light...maybe next week...
I like the way this stack of dishes came together..and they compliment the Christmas tree.....Now if I could only get the rest of this house decorated and the empty containers put back into the barn..I would be a happy camper...
I hope your decorating is coming along nicely..How far along are you? I like to take some breaks all along.....At this rate, I will be done by Christmas Eve...LOL
Love, Mona
I am sharing this week with Let's Dish, Home and Garden Thursday,
Tablescape Thursday, Seasonal Sunday, Inspire Me Tuesday
Mona, I love your table with all the greens. You have a knack for finding great finds. The ruffled green chargers are so pretty and your bokeh is great. I am always a little shy when I pronounce it because I've heard it several ways.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! What a lovely color green yours is. It looks beautifully Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table setting for the C'mas holidays, I love it! The Green chargers are great and so are all the plates and details.

Friendly Village is a favorite of mine. Perfect for Christmas. Your table is beautiful, Mona.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Mona. Love the green chargers and the Solitaire with The Friendly Village. All your photos so warm and inviting!
ReplyDeleteMona, your table is so elegant. Love, love, love the green chargers with their ruffled border. They provide both lovely texture and an elegant base for your stack of pretty dishes. Lovely from start to finish!
ReplyDeleteLove the green chargers. I have many chargers, but no green ones ;o) My decorating is coming along slowly but that is my preference. As long as I have the house decorated by Christmas eve, I am happy.
ReplyDeleteMona, all that green is putting a big smile on my face...just happens to be my favorite color. Love the crocheted tablecloth, beautiful. I haven't even started decorating, maybe this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the dinnerware, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the greens!
ReplyDeleteYour table is lovely, as always...and those ornaments are very special! Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh, Mona, I love your table! How lucky to find such beautiful dishes at GW with your initial on them! It was meant to be!! Your stacking is lovely (I just love Friendly Village!) and your crocheted tablecloth. A very welcoming setting for your guests! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeletePS My decorating bins are stilled piled up in the living room, untouched! Yikes!
Mona, your tablescape is lovely! Thanks for sharing on Kathy's Home and Garden.
ReplyDeleteHelen
Beautiful peaceful table. LOVE those chargers!!!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
I love green, so you have to know how much I love, love, love your table!! Those Lenox chargers - Woo! Your china is gorgeous, too. Why do I never see beauties like that at thrift stores? Thank you for teaching me about the plate stack picture - something I never do but should have known to do. I'm not a full-time tablescaper, so I still have a lot to learn! :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Kim
I like the Friendly Village with the Green -- as Christmasy as any of the Christmas patterns.
ReplyDeleteWhat a serene setting. Very peaceful, love it.

Absolutely beautiful! Love these 2 patterns together...
ReplyDeleteI love Friendly Village too. This tables cape is beautiful. The green plate is a charmer behind the FV plates. I have six pieces of Friendly Village. I may get it photographed if we get some sun. xo, olive
