This winter I decided I was going to splurge on dahlia tubers. I was ready when the growers posted their tubers for sale and was determined to get some that always sell out quickly. Well, let me say.. it was so worth it. All the planning, all the digging, all the sweating, and all the waiting.. We are in the first weeks of blooming and they are just so beautiful. Come and let me show you what is happening so far..

Spreading beauty is a good thing.

May the blooming go on for weeks to come! Your dahlias are glorious! If you get a new puppy, her name should be Dahlia! ☺️ Lily is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour Dahlias (as well as your photography) are lovely. You could make a calendar out of these pictures and give them for Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing all this beauty with us.
ReplyDeleteDahlia envy here!!! They are gorgeous. Love all your arrangements.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your pictures.
This is one of the prettiest flowers, and I don't see them enough around here. Your Dahlias are wonderful, Mona, and the ones you put in vases look just like Autumn. Lily is precious, and look at those eyes! The old books and the blue table cloth is such a charming picture. I always enjoy your photos. There's just something about them that make me smile. Happy October days, Mona.
