If you have never seen a beet growing in a garden, you are in for a treat...sometimes I think the reason I grow them is their beauty....but they taste mighty good too.....it has been a long trial and error time in learning about beets....this year I put wood ashes in the bed and they are doing really good...so far.......
Here they are for your viewing pleasure..sounds like a commercial, doesn't it?
ad right along side of these lovely beets, we have critters happily eating up the beans and dill......I am thinking it is going to be a great year for bugs of all kinds..they surely are here early.....but the green caterpillar is history...
I leave the striped ones on the dill..don't ask me why......I just always have....
one more photo.....of heirloom garlic..it came from my Mamama's yard a long time ago.....

I appreciate each and every one of you...
