I am loving the way this crepe myrtle is spilling over our tin roof....
Succulents seem to thrive in this heat..
This is a deodar cedar that I grew from seed. It came from a very old tree that was cut down to make room for building a new office building. I really prize this tree as a part of Athens history...growing in my garden..
Happy weekend y'all....
Love,
Mona
Oh crepe myrtle! Simply gorgeous. You are rightfully proud of that tree. John has been trying to grow trres from seed and none have made it...then he switched to seedlings...same story.
ReplyDeleteI love the new camera (and your work!). It looks great.
ReplyDeleteNeat about the evergreen and its "heritage," and that you cared enough...
ReplyDeleteI adore crepe myrtle, and it doesn't grow up north here. : - (
Our winters are much too brutal, I'm afraid!
Have a wonderful weekend, Mona!
Beautiful flowers and love the tree. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
