Releasing Thankfulness

I know that this can be taken to extremes but just for today......LIVE for today..in the present....don't worry about tomorrow or about what the future will bring....Just focus on where you are and what you have T.O.D.A.Y........

And your thoughts most definitely should be laced with thankfulness........

I imagine that our thankfulness looks something like this when it rises to the heavens....

like a vapor that goes up, up, up....

And the dew from our thankfulness,

makes the earth come alive with flowers.

Release some words of thanksgiving this day....today!...

Then watch your life and expect the flowers to grow there....

Thank you for stopping by.

I am overwhelmed and humbled by all of the positive feedback I have received about my post on halloween overload
THANK YOU!!!!

I hope to see you again soon.

Love, Mona

  1. Thank you for this today - I needed this! Kind of goes along with reading "One Thousand Gifts" & scripture I've read lately. Thankfulness, gratitude - changes our outlook, as well as honoring God!

  2. Now that is good advice! It's right up there with trust in God, take a nap, and have a cup of tea...

  3. I am thankful that I visited your blog today. This is so refreshing especially when all that I am seeing is Halloween. I love seeing the children in their costumes and giving out candy, but what should be one night of fun for kids has turned into a month or more of madness. Anyway, thank you for this lovely and heartfelt post. You are a wise woman :)

  4. What a cool picture, Mona. It DOES look like vapors are in the air! I love your "thankful" post today. I read one time that grateful people are the happiest people. Thank you for reminding me that there's so many things to be thankful for.

  5. Oh Mona - you always seem to be writing for me. I needed the read the message, about living each day and not worrying about the future. This is very hard, when one needs to be making plans for the future, but I will try to respect your advice. Thanks!!

  6. Mona,

Sage advice for the season's upcoming festivities but also to be observed and practiced, every day. Lovely peaceful photos.

  7. I have spent the morning listening to spiritual Christmas carols. Very peaceful. I was working while listening but the beauty of the music reminds me that it is not about the commercial aspects of the season. I am thankful that I know that.
