Thankfulness

Maggie

Today I am thankful....I am thankful for my little dog, Maggie...her full name is Gabriel's Wake Up Maggie....

she was the pick of the litter and the ONE I chose...I guess I didn't ever think that I would be in the position to be able to pick the best for myself...wow....
maybe I have never really given this much thought but as I write I realize what a privilege it is to own this dog...she has a long and impressive pedigree...but that isn't why I chose her...I chose her because she has the pattern of a flower on her side..no, I am NOT kidding...that is how I knew she was MINE...

She is the smallest of all of our dogs and she makes so many noises..she moos like a cow..especially when she stretches..when she wags her tail, she wags her whole back end...into a curly cue..and she also follows Bryan everywhere he goes when he is home.....
Yessir, this little dog of mine is a happy part of my life...I got the pick of the litter..and I was the one that chose her...I tell her that all the time too...just so she knows... :-)

it reminds me of this verse....


16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

Maggie is a chosen one....I looked them over and she was the one that caught my eye.
so today, I am just expressing my gratefulness for the gift of this little dog's life in my life...
