Nothing but blue skies from now on.....

I did something today that I have been wanting to do for a long time....I have no idea why it took so long to actually do it...I bought some blue paint over a year ago with plans for the ceilings in my house...well, I am here to tell ya...I have finally begun this daunting task...painting the ceilings in my house so that they look like the sky...have you ever looked at the sky and imagined what that color would look like on your ceiling?  well, I have many, many times...I think that God is the very best decorator there is..and He painted the ceiling blue..or gray/silver..or dusky dark blue...or any miriad of other colors...just watch the sky and dream of the colors....I like to take pictures of the sky too so I can remember the colors...the inspiration for the kitchen ceiling is a collage of mountain sky pictures...I love the way it turned out....I mixed  2 different paints that I had bought from the oops shelf...so it was fun and very reasonably priced.........I just had to share with y'all.....I am sure it will make you smile....I know it does me...

my mixing process and inspiration..

now to get everything back in the kitchen without junking it up....and if you know me, that is quite a tall order!!

thank you for reading along today...I am going to sit down for a while...painting upside down gets you!

I am sharing today at  this blog  so come on over and see what's there...

Thank you so much for your sweet comment about my screened in sun-room that Susan featured for her Metamorphosis Monday.
We've enjoyed our little room so much this summer minus the bugs and the baking sun! Plus I can go in and change it up every once in a while to suite my mood and or season!
