“Earth laughs in flowers.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
I was looking for this quote this morning so I could give credit to whomever said it....and I found more wonderful quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson..they contain a lot of wisdom and I am sure I have just scratched the surface with these. I just wanted to share a little of what I found. ...so here is a small tribute to one man's wisdom...with a few happy flowers here and there.....hope you enjoy this...
Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes
“Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting.”
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment"
“To be great is to be misunderstood.”
“People only see what they are prepared to see"
“When it is darkest, men see the stars.”
“What you are comes to you”
“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.”
Maybe some of these quotes will mean something to you this morning.
I especially love the quote "Earth laughs in flowers"...now I know where it came from. :-)
Thank you for reading along this morning...my flowers are indeed happy because we received RAIN last night after a prolonged dry spell....and I am grateful to God for providing the water for my garden...

ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful quotes, Mona. I, especially, love the ones about being yourself. Not always easy, when other people have to be considered!!
