It makes me happy to set a table with green dishes. After all, it is my favorite color and almost all of my dishes have some green in them....
Sometimes, it is hard to decide which ones I will use for St Patrick's Day...This year I chose one with ivy because I love the shade of green for late winter...
I hope you enjoy my table.
I am joining these parties.......Come visit...

Tablescape Thursday
Just beautiful Mona. The green glass is stunning. I have not done a tablescape in so long. I am positively rusty. Waiting for my roses and flowers to bloom around the patio I guess. Why is it cold again? xo, olive
ReplyDeleteYour table is stunning. Visiting from Kathleen's blog crawl. I must spend more time visiting here. The dishes and glassware are so beautiful, I love green too. Your centerpiece is so great. Happy St. Patrick's Day xo
ReplyDeleteMona - my mother had those green plates, along with some other pieces. I have no idea what happened to them, but I certainly wish that I had them. Your table is so pretty and I have always love those glasses of yours. I have not seen the ivy china previously, but it is wonderful and the centerpiece is perfect with the dishes. Happy St. Patrick's Day, my friend!

ReplyDeletePerfect ! That first shot is so eye catching. You have all the right elements- texture, color, variety and proportion. I love the fresh ivy with your great ivy dishes. I can't remember your crystal pattern but the emerald green is so striking and vintage speaks to me. Great tablescape.

ReplyDeleteMona, it was so fun to see "my" green glasses on your table, too! I wish I had a set of the sherbets (or liquor cocktails -- I can't tell the difference on Replacements.com) to go with my water glasses. Yours are gorgeous with the pretty ivy patterned china! Thanks for visiting me and leaving such a nice comment!
