I have a love affair with green dishes. Any shade, any shape... I will make room for it in my collection if I find green dishes when I'm shopping...
So, when Kathleen reminded us of the St Patrick's Day tablescaping crawl, I knew it was time to set a table...a green dish table....
I hope you enjoy the tablesetting as much as I enjoyed setting it....
It all started with these 2 cut crystal champagne glasses that I found at the thrift store for $1.50..They match the crystal I already have so it was a real find.. Cherrywood by Wallace/now Gorham.
But the sun would not cooperate this morning..LOL and I took them as fast as I could when the sun was shining..Oh well, here is what I got......
It's good to be back doing a tablescape. I hope you all get some inspiration to set a pretty table for those you love....
Happy St Patrick's Day..
And go visit Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen and see all the pretty tables.....
Love,
Mona
How fun is this St. Patty's Crawl....I just love it.
ReplyDeleteYour table is lovely...and great find on the glasses to match your set.
How nice to see an "elegant" St. Pat's Day table! Love the look of the crystal with the gorgeous green glass plate! I could really see myself enjoying my dinner at this table! Visiting from Kathleen's.
ReplyDeleteYour green glass plate looks so pretty with that sparkling crystal. Beautiful table!....Christine
ReplyDeleteBeautiful combination of dishes and crystal. Love the sweet flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteMona, you already know how much I love the green glass plates, but I have always loved your ivy plates, too. Your place setting is beautiful, but your photos always make everything look exquisite! You are just so talented in so many ways, my friend!!
ReplyDeleteHowever minimal the light, it looks beautiful reflected in your gorgeous crystal! Lovely Tablescape.
ReplyDeleteEmerald green to honor The Emerald Isle...seems right! It surely is beautiful. Are those flowers snowdrops? It must be nice to have a few early flowers again.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and elegant...love this look. Your green plates are to die for!
ReplyDeleteMona, Your tablescape is beautiful and the light is perfect for the special glow you achieve. I love snow drops and they look so perfect with your St. Patty's table. The little green spot on each petal accents your green dishes perfectly. You know I love fresh flowers. What a lucky find for the champagne glasses. The emerald green plate is stunning and the ivy plates look great with them. Your lace tablecloth provides the perfect backdrop for an elegant tablescape.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I can see why you are drawn to green especially the green glass plates! The flowers are so sweet! Love the picture with the sun gleaming thru on the dishes. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteMona, Your table is so elegant! The emerald green glass dishes are the perfect color for a St. Patrick's table. The photo with the sunlight shining on the dishes is just beautiful and so is the shot of the cut glass pattern. Just beautiful! Linda

ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect color for St. Patrick's! Your table is beautiful, and your pics are brilliant! Thanks so much for taking part in the crawl! I was so happy to see your name!
ReplyDeleteMona, like you I can always find a spot for green dishes, even if I have to get rid of something else! Your table for two is beautifully elegant. What a beautiful deep shade of green the salad plates are. Love the lace tablecloth, too. Great find and price on the crystal.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend...spring is here!
Mona, I think you got some beautiful shots. Of course I love the stack of plates. Will pin some of these photos for my Green inspiration board. Love our Wedgwood Napoleon Ivy! :-)
