Easter table settings....

I love when it is time to get out the little rabbits I have been collecting since I was 13 yrs old..that is when I got my very first one..it sat on top of my birthday cake ..there were a pair of them and my friend Debby got the other one..we shared a birthday dance and her aunts made us the cake..I have treasured this little rabbit because of the memories of that birthday dance when I was 13 yrs old...it always brings a smile to my face and it is the first part of an Easter table....my inspiration piece.....

my birthday rabbit..
I used my china Provencal by Royal Doulton.....never have gotten tired of it like my Mama told me I would...grin.....even Bryan said the other day..this china really is pretty.....but I already knew that..

another little...... well, maybe not so little........collection of mine is bone china flowers....and one of the best finds was a whole box of them at an estate auction several years ago...my heart was pounding as I made the winning bid..HOORAY!  so they are mixed in with the rabbits this year.....

I love these yellow green crystal glasses found thrifting..don't know the pattern or maker...but I like them...

all housed in small glass houses....none of them are perfect..they all have character..  (flaws)...

and I added in these paper mache eggs that remind me of the spun sugar eggs that we used to get way back when..they were exquisite..true works of art..

I hope you are setting your table in Easter finery to celebrate this wonderful holiday...I had fun getting out all the flowers and rabbits and arranging and rearranging..it is such an alive time of year..I hope you enjoyed sitting at my table too...

I am  glad you stopped by and  hope you come again soon....me and my rabbits will be waiting for you.....

                                                                     Happy Easter!

  3. How could you get tired of those pretty dishes? Also, how unusual are yellow glasses, nice find. How many times has that bunny moved with you? You are a good caretaker!
