Family Rooms

Family room........we had one in our house growing up and when we bought this house it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this room.....a family room.......

It is where we spend almost all of our time, the TV is there, the coffee table with photos under the glass...two ottomans and two sofas...numerous pillows, a wicker rocking chair and a club chair...and a gallery wall featuring vintage pictures and things..

the walls are painted green and there are patterned rugs on the floor...and there are mobiles hanging from the ceiling.....it is my favorite room in the house...there is sunlight in the morning and in the late afternoon...and a screen door for pleasant weather.....

My daddy once told me that it reminded him of the sunporch at my grandmother's house.....
ahhh.MISSION accomplished...that is EXACTLY the feel I was going for....

just a little glimpse into our everyday life.
